We are a specialist staffing agency for UK care homes, based in Aveley, Essex. We work with independent care homes, regional groups, and multi-site operators across the United Kingdom. We do one thing, and we try to do it better than anyone else.

Our Story

A new agency built around UK care homes.

Barking Healthcare was set up after watching too many agency-supplied nurses walk into care homes underprepared, and too many care home managers absorb the consequences. The premise is simple: focus exclusively on care homes, treat every nurse and HCA on the books as a long-term colleague rather than a temp, and never place anyone we would not want caring for our own family.

We are a new agency. We are not promising a long client list or polished statistics yet — we are promising honest vetting, a small and consistent pool of staff, and a real person at the end of the phone, day or night. That is the foundation we are building on, one shift at a time.
